CONFERENCE TO SUMMARIZE 2020 PARTY WORK AND PROPOSE 2021 ORIENTATIONS AND TASKS

On January 15th, 2021, Vinacomin Industry Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company (VIMCC) held the Conference on summarizing the Party work in 2020 and proposing orientations and tasks in 2021 at the Company’s headquarters.

Conference’s overview

The meeting was attended by the senior officials of the Party Committee of Vinacomin, including Mr. Khuat Manh Thang – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Minh Thieu – Deputy Head of the General Propaganda and Communication Department Committee under the Party Committee of Vinacomin, Mr. Nguyen Van Hai – Official of the Party Committee Office and Member of the Members’ Council. As for the VIMCC Party Committee side, there were Mr. Le Van Duan - Party Committee Secretary cum Director of the Company, members of the Executive Committee of Party Cells and Party Committee of the Company, Head of the Supervisory Board of the Company, Chairpersons and Vice Chairpersons of the Trade Union, Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union, Deputy Heads of Departments, Boards of Directors of the subsidiaries, Heads of Trade Union Teams of Divisions and Party members who successfully completed the tasks in 2020.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Viet Cuong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee presented the Report on summarizing the Party building work in 2020 and proposing directions and tasks in 2021. The year 2020 was full of difficulties, but under the leadership and assistance of the Vinacomin Party Committee, the Party Committee, Board of Directors and executive leaders of the Company have successfully implemented the dual goal of “preventing the Covid - 19 pandemic and stabilizing operating activities” to ensure jobs and income for employees.

The company strictly followed and implemented the resolutions of the Party, policies and laws of the state and the management of Vinacomin, and continued to promote the restructuring of the Company, reduce the workforce and recruit new employees to supplement human resources for the departments, gradually improve production capacity and create more jobs for employees. The achievements in the Party building work in 2020 are as follows: Leadership work: Developing programs and plans to direct and concretize directives, resolutions and directive documents of the Central Committee and Party Committee at all levels; Political and ideological work: Focusing on leading and directing propaganda about difficulties, advantages, main goals and tasks in 2020 to  officials, Party members and employees; party organization building and human resource work: Doing well the work of party building organization work and party member management according to the Party’s Charter, working out the full-term working program of the Executive Board and the inspection and supervision program of the member level for the period of 2020-2025; inspection and supervision work: In 2020, the Party Committee of the Company directed the work of preparing the program and organizing the inspection and supervision of the Party Committee and Party Committee Inspection Committee in 2020 according to the plan; Work of public relations and leadership of mass organizations: Promoting the implementation of grassroots-level democracy regulation under Decree No. 60-ND/2013 and Decree 149/2018/ND-CP by the Government ...

The achievements in the implementation of production and business tasks in 2020 are as follows: the Paying 15.05 billion VND to the State budget, equaling 115.1% of the same period of 2019, 122.3% of the business plan in 2020; revenue: 226.54 billion VND, equaling 100.2% of the realized value in 2019, 93.2% of the business plan in 2020; profit: 1.8 billion VND, equaling 77% compared to the same period in 2019 and 120% of the business plan in 2020.

Although there are still limitations and shortcomings in Party work due to subjective and objective reasons, the Party Committee of Vinacomin Industry Investment Consulting Company focused on the leadership and direction to create solidarity, bring into full play the strength of the political system and mobilize all resources to overcome difficulties and challenges in performing the political duties of the Company.

At the conference, specific orientations for 2021 were also outlined. The Party Committee would closely coordinate with the Leadership Board to direct the subordinate cells, units, Trade Union and Youth Union of the Company to encourage cadres, party members and the masses in the company to perform their assignments in 2021 well, promptly and effectively implement the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party Committee and Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party.

On this occasion, the Party Committee Office announced the commendation decisions of the Party Committee at all levels for one team and one individual who implemented well Directive No. 05-CT/TW by the Politburo on promoting the work of studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology and ethics in the period of 2017-2020, one typical party cell secretary in leading the implementation of political tasks and Party building work in the period of 2017-2020, 01 party member who successfully completed the task for 5 consecutive years, and 03 party cells and 24 party members who successfully completed the tasks in 2020.
